National Council on Problem Gambling (United States)
An internationally renowned problem gambling expert, Dr Rachel Volberg is the keynote speaker for this Conference. Dr. Volberg served as President of the US NCPG from 2003 to 2006, after serving for ten years on the NCPG Board of Directors and for three years on the NCPG Executive Committee. She is also President of Gemini Research, the only company that specialises in the study of gambling and problem gambling globally. |

Dr Jeffrey L. Derevensky,
McGill University (Canada)
Dr Jeffrey L. Derevensky is Professor and Director of Training in School/Applied Child Psychology and Professor, Department of Psychiatry at McGill University. A highly regarded expert on youth gambling, he is the Co-Director of the McGill University Youth Gambling Research and Treatment Clinic and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours. Dr Derevensky and his team have helped governments across the globe establish research priorities and have been instrumental in the development of responsible practices, treatment centres, prevention programmes and social policies. |

Dr Samson Tse,
University of Auckland (New Zealand)
Dr Samson Tse, Acting Director at the Centre for Gambling Studies and Associate Professor for the Mental Health Development Programme at the University of Auckland, is also Director of the Centre for Asian Health Research and Evaluation. Dr Tse has led three major gambling studies in New Zealand, including the psychosocial determinants of problem gambling, venue-based host responsibility and the effectiveness of intervention. One key area of focus for him has been problem gambling and Asian health, in particular services accessibility issues and culturally appropriate interventions. |

Ms Elizabeth Stehr is the Branch Manager of the Money Management and Community Program Branch in the Australian Government Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. The Branch delivers money management programs, which collectively focus on prevention, early intervention and crisis assistance.

Dr Lim Yun Chin is Consultant Psychiatrist and Head of Raffles Hospital's Counselling Department and is active in prisons and drug rehabilitation psychiatric work in Singapore. With 28 years of psychiatric practice behind him, Dr Lim also lectures on Addiction for the Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy course at the Graduate School of Medical Studies, National University of Singapore. |

Ms Polly Lam,

Ms Polly Lam is coordinator of Casa de Vontade Frime, the Problem Gambling Prevention and Treatment Centre in Macau. A clinical psychologist trained in Hong Kong and Sydney, Australia, she has had extensive clinical experience in the Addiction Ward of the Northside West Clinic in Sydney, as well as the counselling department of the Chinese Australian Service Society. Ms Lam specialises in treating problem gambling, domestic violence and other addictive behaviours. |

Ms Elda Chan,
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Even Centre (Hong Kong)
Ms Elda Chan is the coordinator of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Even Centre which is one of the first two pilot counselling centers in Hong Kong. Ms Chan had extensive experiences in counselling problem gamblers and their families at Gambler's Help services in Melbourne Australia prior returning to Hong Kong. She is also a certified problem gambling counsellor and trainer accredited by the Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board. |

Dr Munidasa Winslow's passion is to help people with addictions to recover in a safe, caring and prejudice-free society. He is a committed advocate for greater community involvement in treatment and rehabilitation. Dr Winslow currently serves as the Chief and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist of the Addictions Medicine Department at Institute of Mental Health (IMH). He is also Director of the Community Addictions Management Programme (CAMP), providing professional case management in the treatment of addictions. |

Dr Arthur Lee,

Dr Arthur Lee is Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the Institute of Mental Health’s Addictions Medicine Department. Besides general psychiatry and dual diagnosis, he is also active in various consulting and teaching positions specialising in alcoholism, substance abuse and other forms of addiction. He is concurrently Deputy Director at the IMH’s Community Addictions Management Programme (CAMP). |
